Local California Native Plants come in variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and textures, and are great additions to drought-tolerant landscapes. But some varieties are difficult to find in nurseries. Could you grow them from seeds? Join Master Gardener Allie Judy who will dive into the advantages and disadvantages of seed propagation. You will learn basic germination skills for California natives including perennials, and how to collect seeds to propagate.

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the class is held outside in our Pavilion. A refillable water bottle, notebook and writing implements are recommended. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in.
