Are you feeling seed savvy? Participate in the Seed Swap on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Join us at the local UC Master Gardeners Education Centre and Demonstration Gardens at Martial Cottle Park. The event not only connects seed savers it also encourages the garden-curious to grow plants from seed. Enjoy a repeat mini-talk, either at 11am or Noon. We will teach you practical tips on soil amendments and seed starting - intermixed with seed swapping while savoring sample sips from the garden. Stick around and wander through 4 acres of free gardens. Don't forget to bring seeds you have saved, or a few packs of seeds to exchange.

Cost: Free

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the class is held outdoors. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in.

Please note, the park charges $6.00 for parking, or park closer to our area on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
