Did you know our wonderful mild winter climate is a great time to grow your favorite cool season vegetables? Chill temperatures provide outdoor refrigeration for extended harvest time, allowing you to grow your own salad all winter long! There's nothing like the taste of a fresh carrot just pulled from the ground!  Learn how to grow leafy greens, root vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower and more. And find out which ones will do great in containers!

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the class is held outdoors. A refillable water bottle, notebook and writing implements are recommended.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in. Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or park closer to our area on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
