Event Details

Healthy garden soil is full of living organisms, some that are visible and others too tiny to see. These critters help provide and manage nutrients for our plants. Improvements in the condition of your garden soil often leads to increased garden productivity. Learn about soil characteristics and methods for using common materials to build soil in a sustainable way at the Public Education class, Building Healthy Soils provided by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County on September 21, 2019. Handouts will be available. The class is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.

Classes are held in the GSA building at 12200-B Airport Rd in Jackson from 9 am until Noon.
