Have you ever bitten into a luscious Heirloom tomato and wished you could grow it for yourself? Well, if it truly is an Heirloom or an open-pollinated tomato, you can, by saving the seeds and growing them next year! Come to a workshop where you can learn how to save tomato seeds and help us harvest and save seeds for our next year's planting!

Master Gardener Mary Collins, who selects and grows our Tomatoes
for our Spring Garden Market, will show you how to easily save tomato seeds.

Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to walk from the parking lot or Chynoweth Avenue to the Master Gardener parcel at the park. Wearing closed-toed shoes, sunscreen or sun protection, and bringing a water bottle are recommended. Please, no young children or pets, as both would be bored at this activity.

Cost: Free
